The Unsigned Song Contest 2008 comes to its finale as it celebrates another successful year of original UK unsigned songwriting talent. The Unsigned Song Contest is a songwriting contest open nationally that aims to unearth some of the finest songwriters coming up through he UK unsigned ranks. The Unsigned Song Contest Live Showcase 2008 is a celebration of those talents.

This year, the event features an intimate live acoustic performance by Simon Fowler from legendary indie-rock band Ocean Colour Scene. As one of the many prizes in this year’s contest the winners of Unsigned Song Contest 2008 will perform live alongside Simon, showcasing their best material at this exclusive one-off annual event.
